Sarah Seymour

VISIONARY. STORYTELLER. FRIEND.

My mom taught me the love of capturing beautiful moments. When she came back from a trip to Galapagos and showed me her photos, I immediately fell in love with them. Soon after, I began using her camera and quickly developed a deep passion for photography.

Photography is my gift to capture beautiful moments and glorify the one who made them possible, the one who created light and life, who gives love and joy that shine through photos and make them so special— Jesus.

These qualities that reflect our Creator are the ones that stand out most in images and draw people to specific, emotion-filled photos. During photo sessions, I aim to be a light-giver, just as Christ is, and to bring joy, laughter, and love into the session by approaching it with excitement, authenticity, and inviting raw and heartfelt emotions in.

I truly am so grateful for those who entrust me to capture their most monumental moments, their sacred memories, and the beautiful stories that shape their lives. I pray that each session leaves you feeling renewed and refreshed in the deep purpose and abundant joy that Jesus graciously gives us.

My Journey

2015: My love for photography started with my mom’s camera. After seeing her stunning photos from a trip to Galapagos, I began capturing nature, pets, and our travels. I immediately fell in love with the way photography artistically portrays the magic of the moment.

2018: In junior high, I started photographing sports games. The energy and excitement of sports photography compelled me, and I quickly realized how much I loved capturing those split-second moments of action and emotion in the players. It was my first taste of the power of storytelling through photography.

2020: I entered high school and continued to capture athletic events. I started diving deeper into travel photography during camping trips with my mom and finding beauty in the breathtaking landscapes around me. Photography held depth to me in reminding me of the intentionality of our Creator and how He so beautifully formed the world around us. Documenting our travels added another dimension of personal value to my craft.

November 2022: I photographed my first paid session for a family from my church. This experience made me realize that photography could be more than just a hobby, and it also showed me being a professional photographer requires much more than simply taking and editing photos.

November 2023: I became business-minded about photography and decided I wanted to make it into something bigger than just my hobby. I started booking family and senior sessions and saved up for high-quality equipment to improve my results and quality of my photos. I spent intentional time learning the technical side of things, such as mastering manual mode on my camera, to make sure I could deliever the best possible photos for my clients.

January 2024: 2024 was the year when my photography journey shifted from a dream I hoped for into a reality I loved. I began exploring new types of photography, and shadowed my first wedding. I absolutely fell in love with wedding photography—the emotions, the details, the story of the couple. From there, I was inspired to dive deeper into the world of wedding photography.

June 2024: I had the incredible opportunity to photograph my first wedding as the lead photographer, and just a month later, I photographed my first destination wedding in Divide, Colorado. These experiences transformed my idea of what I wanted my photography business to be and greatly inspired me to be the intentional photographer, the one who knows their couple’s love story deeply so that I can capture the couple in a style that authentically shows who they are.

August 2024: As I started my freshman year at Texas A&M University, I continued to serve my clients back home on weekends. By November, I was doing more sessions in College Station, including photographing my first Texas A&M graduates. Along the way, I began second-shooting weddings in the area, learning from others and growing as a wedding photographer.

January 2025: The joy-filled journey continues and I am continuing to capture couples, grads, and families in College Station and beyond! My ultimate dream is to develop a focus in capturing destination weddings, traveling the world to document the love stories that unfold in stunning locations. From intimate ceremonies to bigger celebrations, I’m excited to be part of these unforgettable moments—no matter where they may take me.
