The Wedding Experience

Capturing your special day in the fullness of its essence starts long before the actual day of your wedding.

I am wholeheartedly invested to know you and your significant other’s love story long before the big day to ensure I capture your love in the fullest and most authentic sense. My hope for you is that you would not only leave the experience having photos capturing the most beautiful and intimate moments of your day, but that you would feel as though you gained a good friend who was by your side throughout it! A core part of my photography style is my focus on relationship; getting to know you and develop a relationship with you before your special day is so important to me. Keep reading to see what that would look like if you say “yes” to choosing me to capture your wedding.

After you say "yes!"

Immediately after I see you booked, I will do a little dance for joy and send you a personal email expressing my pure excitement about getting to know you and to photograph your special day! I will then send you a contract outlining details about my services, payments, and what you can expect from me both on and before your special day. After you've completed the contract, I will send my calendar availability to schedule our first meeting. This is where the magic begins!



I like to think of our first meeting as a "coffee date"– a relaxed and fun opportunity for us to get to know each other!  During our time together, I’d love to hear all about your story, your vision for the day, and any and all plans + ideas you have for your wedding so far. I absolutely love hearing every detail! We also will have the opportunity to get a Pinterest board set up for any inspiration photos you might have. This will help me understand your vision even more clearly so I can start planning how to bring it to life. Lastly, we’ll go over the details for your complimentary engagement session–which I am SO excited to capture!

For our second meeting, we'll dive into more of the details; we’ll go over your wedding timeline, including the best times to capture specific photos (such as family portraits, photos of you two together, and more). We’ll also dive deeper into your vision and discuss any specific photo requests you may have. In addition to this, I would love to learn more about your family and have photos of them with their names, so I can be sure to address everyone properly on the big day. This will help create a smoother flow when it comes time for photos amidst all the excitement of everything going on that day! Communication is key when it comes to weddings, so from this point on I’ll also be in touch with your wedding planner to ensure all the details—big and small—are covered!

Lastly, but certainly not least, about a week before your wedding, I’ll do a check-in call or meeting with you. This is a chance for me to hear how you’re feeling in the final stretch of your planning and to see if there are any last-minute photo requests you have or any other details or changes you would like to discuss. I want to make sure everything is lined up and that you're feeling confident leading into the big day! Whether it’s discussing any last ideas on your must-have shots or chatting to help ease any last-minute nerves, I’m here to make sure you feel excited, relaxed, and ready to enjoy every moment of your big day!

The big day!! One full of laughter, wholehearted joy, and memories for a lifetime!

Oh, how excited I am to capture this special day for you!!

After all the preparation, this is your time to enjoy the day and soak in every moment with your new lifelong partner! I’ll be there, not just as your photographer, but as a friend by your side—capturing the intimate and heartfelt moments that are most valuable to you, all while being your hype-woman and cheerleader.

Whether it’s helping to pin boutonnières, bustle your dress, or just share in a laugh, I’m here to help make your day as stress-free and joyful as possible. My focus is on capturing the moments that truly matter—the genuine smiles, heartfelt emotions, and the in-between moments that tell the story of you. 

During your couple portraits, instead of stiff posing I will mostly be giving you prompts— poses that have the two of you interacting with each other and focusing on each other in a way that helps me to capture the way you feel. While we will still get the essential posed photos, my main priority will be to capture you in a way that authentically showcases your love. These feelings will shine through your photos and bring you right back to your special day when you're looking at them ten, thirty, and even fifty years later.

My goal is to capture the emotions that can’t be put into words—

the butterflies in your stomach as your getting ready for the special day,

the moment his heart drops as he sees you walking down the aisle,

the quiet intimacy of your first dance together as husband and wife.

These are the moments that you look back on and feel.

Now the magical editing process begins!

First, I will thoughtfully choose a collection of photos that tell the story of your day from beginning to end. From these, I will hand-edit approximately 50 sneak peeks, which will be delivered to you within 72 hours after your wedding. This gives you an early glimpse into the magic of your special day, allowing you to relive those joyful moments while the memories are still fresh.

Then I carefully go through each image, selecting the best moments that reflect the beauty, joy, and emotion of your special day. From there, I will hand-edit each photo to ensure they capture the true essence of the day. This process includes color correction, retouching, removing distractions, and fine-tuning each detail to create a gallery that authentically tells your story.

Your full gallery will be ready within 6-8 weeks, and I’ll send it to you via a private online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to download, share, and print your images to treasure these special moments for the rest of your life!

When you look back on these images, I want you to feel the warmth, love, and beauty of your wedding day as if you’re right there all over again. This is your story—told with care, artistry, and my heart full of gratitude for being a part of it. Let’s make it everything you dreamed of and more!
