Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I serve both the Greater Houston and College Station areas, but I am more than happy to travel!

When is the best time to take my senior photos?

You're asking great questions!

Fall (August-November) is a great time to take photos outdoors, with beautiful weather and plenty of outdoor location options.

In December through February, trees are usually bare and grass will be less vibrant, creating a more rustic look. While this can make for great rustic photos, it doesn't provide the bright look that some people prefer.

Spring (mid-March to May) offers vibrant settings like flower fields and tall grass meadows. It’s the ideal time to capture colorful and lively outdoor photos.

For my Texas A&M graduates, TAMU does a wonderful job taking care of their flowers and grass, so many locations are vibrant year round.

The academic building is a popular spot for cap-and-gown photos but gets crowded toward the end of the semester. If you plan to take photos at the academic building, it’s best to schedule your session earlier in the semester. This allows plenty of time for all your photos without other graduates in the background, and we can avoid the rush of people waiting for their turn after us.

The best times to schedule photos at the academic building are between August-October during the fall semester and January-March during the spring semester.

What would it be like to have you take my graduation photos?

Your graduation photos should authentically reflect who you are, which is why I offer a complimentary consultation before your senior session. During our call, we’ll discuss your vision, style, and how to bring your personality to life in your photos!

On the day of the session, my goal is to capture you in your truest form by creating moments that allow you to laugh, smile, and be yourself. Rather than relying on stiff poses, I’ll guide you with movement-focused prompts that bring out the joy and excitement of this milestone, letting your personality shine through in every shot!

Does my cap + gown count as an additional outfit?

I do not consider your cap and gown to be an additional outfit.

Instead, I see them as accessories that tie together your graduation story and go with the outfit you choose to wear underneath. I encourage you to bring props and accessories such as college flags, additional jewelry to switch out, or a meaningful keepsake. Props like these add variety and personality to your photos!

How long do you take to edit + deliver photos?

All senior sessions are delivered within three weeks from session date. If you need your photos quickly, I charge $100 extra for expedited editing + delivery in 1 week.

Do you travel?

Yes! Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and I wholeheartedly believe that a stunning new backdrop can elevate your photos to the next level. Whether it’s a scenic mountain range, a sun-soaked beach, or a cozy destination close to your heart, I’m all in for the adventure!

What do you charge for travel?

Travel fees apply to sessions held outside of the Greater Houston area, except for Bryan/College Station. Feel free to reach out, and I’d be happy to discuss the details and create a package that works best for you!

How will I receive my photos?

I deliver all my photos through an online gallery. You can share these galleries with your family and friends, and all of your photos can be downloaded directly from the gallery. You also can order prints directly from my print store, or have them printed yourself!
